On September 24th and 25th, the Robotics team made it to the final rounds of the annual Chezy Champs held in San Jose, California. This off-season tournament is known as the “best in the West” and included three world champion teams. The team posted some of the highest scores in game play, and during qualification rounds, they were nicknamed “Giant Killer”.
Although they lost both final rounds, they still managed to post high scores that dominated the competition. Our four teams had an outstanding thrive and a great amount of energy, and as Kennedy students and staff, we couldn’t be more proud.
Through it all, Kennedy Robotics is very quickly becoming one of the school’s signature programs. Way to go, Mr. Greene and the team!
