Throughout the history of mankind’s existence, humanity was capable of creating many different varieties of cut pieces of dough served hot in the form otherwise known as “noodles.” Derived from the German word, “nudel,” cultures of many kinds have created their very own spin on the noodle formula and created dishes and recipes. Whether it’s pasta, pho, or ramen, these different kinds of noodles are well appreciated and loved.
This love has resulted in dedicating an annual national holiday to the doughy cuisine. On October 6, 2017, National Noodle Day is observed where everyone is encouraged to consume their favorite noodle dish.
