Are you tired of waking up in the morning and smelling the sweet symphony of spring pollen? Allergy relief medicines that don’t work? Try the Claritin! We offer some spicy spiced tea that you won’t find anywhere else this side of Pocket (including T4. We got y’all beat). We at the Claritin want to encourage you to overdose on some average high school journalism. *

Civic engagement was a prevalent theme throughout this past quarter, in which our staff covered an array of stories regarding public concerns. From our bankrupt district to the controversy regarding Stephon Clark, The Clarion focused on relevant, big stories that our staff felt were important. Additionally, arts and entertainment were strong where we had two stories regarding the film industry alongside two music reviews.

In this issue we have our fourth annual edition of The Claritin, where our staff wrote four satirical stories regarding both our campus and politics. Despite our selection of satire being fewer in numbers compared to previous years, Claritin journalists produced much higher quality content.

Our amazing staff workedahard to produce this issue of The Clarion we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
