Friday, March 27th, JFK updates were happy to announce our new elected winners for the 26-27 school years ASB cabinet.
Kennedy’s ASB cabinet consists of 4 students who can proudly represent their government leadership role for class, and school wide projects.
Congratulations to Tiffany Elliott who ran unopposed, and is currently our new ASB president for next year.
Tiffany was asked what made her want to join ASB, “I saw that there were things that needed to be improved in JFK and I knew that I had the leadership skills and I was qualified to make those changes.”
Someone that inspired Tiffany to join ASB was JFK alumni, Lindsay Rojas. “She inspired me to join ASB because she was involved in many sports, events, and in ASB and it encouraged me to keep going.”
Tiffany says she’s most excited to work closer with the admins next year. “I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity to serve this community.”

Anthony Zhao, a junior, who won as our ASB vice president says ¨I wanted to join ASB because I wanted to make a positive impact on school life and make a better community around us [students].”
He brings up that because of Ms. Musca, he joined ASB as commissioner his sophomore year.
Anthony looks forward to having a better spirit around school and positive changes to school life.

Elaine Wycoff will be our ASB secretary. Elaine wanted to join ASB freshman year since she saw her peers joining, “I thought it would be super fun to contribute to the school’s culture.”
She was inspired to join by her friend Janice Li, who is now the ASB Treasurer. “When I saw her as a freshman doing ASB, I was like ‘Oh yeah I should do ASB too.’”
As this year comes to an end and preparation for next year starts, Elaine was asked what she is most excited about for next year.
“It’s going to be my senior year, so I’m excited to do the senior activities, like senior sunrise and sunset because I think I’ll see a big change as a senior.”

Last but not least, Janice Li for our ASB Treasurer simply states that she joined ASB to make a better impact on the school, and being able to ¨make a better community where everyone is closer together.”

She says she looks forward to ¨build a closer and better community so im really, really excited to meet new people and form a group around us.¨
She mentions her excitement for field trips and stuff they do in ASB; she likes being away from school and having fun with her peers.
We appreciate all supporters who help vote for our 26-27 year cabinets. We can´t wait to see what our new elected winners have in store for us, and the new year!
