Kennedy had their second rally of the year, dedicated to this year’s homecoming. It consisted of performances by some very talented students and cultural clubs of the school.
Most of the performers showed much courage and excitement, while also expressing nervousness before performing. Fortunately, Kennedy showed them much love and energy to motivate them.
Pacific Islander Jo’cyah Marilao says “It’s a good experience to have to perform in front of other classes.”
The Pacific Islander group shows all their motivation to their group as a second family by showcasing all the energy they bring as a group, coming together and showing off their dances which shows off their culture and what they do.
Jo’cyah Marilao says “We want to be the inspiration for other students to come and have the courage, have a good time and be yourself with it”.
Jaylen Pabelonia shows his enthusiasm for the Hoco rally by saying, “It feels great to be showing more of my culture to people that will never experience it.” His advice to other students to come and participate in rallies is to “Just do it, you live once.”
